Lay a cutting board or cardboard template across part of the sink. Then run through one normal wash-and-dry moment.

How much sink do you want back?
A narrow uncovered strip may handle a cup, but not a skillet. Mark the basin area that remains open, then check the faucet above and any dishes below. A good fit is one you can deploy, drain and put away without creating a second obstacle.
